How Sudoku Savant Works

Our online Sudoku puzzle, Sudoku Savant, is a flash game that is generated on Sapphire Software, Inc. server but displayed on SudokuEssentials.com.

Every time you access our Play-Sudoku page, a new flash game is downloaded from the Sapphire Software, Inc. server. Your browser will display the puzzles if you meet some technical requirements.

When you ask for a puzzle hint, the Sapphire Software, Inc. server generates your hints, and downloads them to SudokuEssentials.com to be displayed in your browser.

Technical Requirements

The main requirement is you need to have an Adobe Flash Player installed in your browser. If you just see a large gray square, but no puzzle loading or loaded, then you need to install the Adobe Flash Player.

We recommend downloading and installing the Firefox browser The browser is faster than Internet Explorer and recommended by professionals. It has been known to solve some display problems for a few people.

Help For Display Problems

If you have Adobe flash player installed, and you have Firefox installed and working, but yet you can not see a Sudoku Savant puzzle, you probably need to clear your web browser's cache.
