How Does PayPal Work?

PayPal™ was created to provide a safe way to send and receive payments through the Internet. You do not need a credit card to purchase from any merchant that accepts PayPal™.

Before you can pay via PayPal, you need to create a PayPal Account. PayPal™ will ask you for some personal information such as your name, address, and phone number. You will also need a valid email address. Your email address will be used as your login ID.

Once your PayPal™ account is created, you will need to fund your account. To "fund your account", click on the "Add Funds" button in your account.

You will be given a choice of either

• Adding funds from a US Bank Account
• Add funds from a Green Dot® MoneyPak®

Transferring money from your bank account to PayPal™ will take 3 to 5 days. If you do not have a bank account, you can use a Green Dot® MoneyPak<®

A Green Dot® MoneyPak® can be purchased with cash at these local merchants:

• Walmart
• Walgreens
• CVS Pharmacy
• Rite Aid
• K Mart
• Kroger
• Meijer
• Winn/Dixie
• Ralphs

They will charge a convenience fee of $4.95 or less.

You can also add a credit card to use if you prefer. Just click the "Profile" button and select "Add or edit Credit Card" menu selection.

By using a credit card through PayPal™ you only reveal your credit card information once. The merchant does not get your credit card information making it safer to do business online.

Once your account is funded you can buy online from any merchant that accepts PayPal™ We accept PayPal™ and so do most merchants we recommend.

For instance, if you wanted to purchase the Sudoku Solving Techniques Video, (new window) when you click the "Buy Now" button, you are taken to ClickBank to purchase the video before downloading.

On the Secure Payment Form you will notice you have a choice of paying by credit card or by PayPal™. Click the PayPal button and you will be prompted to enter your zip code and county/city.

Once you enter that information, you are taken to PayPal™ to complete the transaction.

Funds are then transferred securely through PayPal and the money is deposited into the seller's PayPal account.

You will then be given a download link to download the Sudoku Solving Techniques Video in this example.
