Free Adobe Reader Download & Install Instructions

All of our printable Sudoku Puzzles require that you have Adobe Reader downloaded, installed and working.

You need AdobeŽ Reader to download, view, and print each puzzle. Our printable puzzle uses the Portable Document Format (PDF) created by AdobeŽ.

Most likely, you already have it installed. But if you don't you can get a free copy directly from AdobeŽ.

To get the latest Adobe Reader download, follow these steps:

1. Bookmark this page (CTRL-D) or remember what puzzle you wanted to download.
2. Print This Page!
3. Click the Get AdobeŽ Reader button above. (A new window will open.)
4. Click the Get AdobeŽ Reader button on Adobe's website. (Slow)
5. Click the Download button when it appears.
6. When window opens, click "OK".
7. Click "Save" to save file to disk. (Remember where you save the file.)
8. Go to the directory where you saved the AdobeŽ Download Manager.
9. Double click your left mouse button to open AdobeŽ Download Manager window. The download of AdobeŽ Reader will start. (May take 15 minutes or more.)
10. Click the "Install Now" button to begin the install process.
11. Click "I agree" button on the Software License Agreement window.
12. Click the "Finish" button.
13. Install Adobe Photoshop Album Starter if desired. (Not Required for Sudoku puzzles.)
14. Install Adobe Reader by following prompts.

You are done! You may now return to http://www.sudokuessentials.com to download, view, and print Sudoku puzzles. Hopefully you bookmarked where you were.

SPECIAL PRIVACY NOTICE

AdobeŽ now installs the YahooŽ toolbar into AdobeŽ Reader. Some folks feel that toolbars such as this one may be a security risk and invades your privacy since it can search your computer as well as the web.

If you do not want the YahooŽ toolbar, it is safe to remove it. Our Sudoku puzzles don't require or need it.

To remove the YahooŽ toolbar follow these steps:

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Cursor to Settings
3. Click on Control Panel
4. Double click the left mouse button on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
6. Find the Yahoo Toolbar icon and single click to highlight it.
7. Click the "Remove" button. This removes the YT.dll and other dlls.
8. Goto your desktop, click the AdobeŽ Reader shortcut icon to start the program.
9. On the AdobeŽ Reader toolbar you will find YahooŽ toolbar embedded as a YahooŽ search field.
10. Drag the YahooŽ toolbar off the AdobeŽ Reader toolbar by left clicking the YahooŽ icon, hold the mouse button and drag to the center of the screen.
11. Click the "X" on the YahooŽ window in the right hand corner to make the YahooŽ toolbar window disappear.
